
Over the weekend, I posted about a dessert dish I made for Thanksgiving — Pecan Pie Cookies. The other dessert I made was determined by the MSCupcake Group — our November Bonus Challenge — Applesauce-Spice Cupcakes.

I knew these were going to be a hit, as well as SUPER moist ('cause of the applesauce)! I was right! Another super easy and delicious recipe!

After reading, Martha's frosting recipe, I thought it would be too sweet, so I went with another one that I found on www.allrecipes.com. I thought this one was pretty good and not overly sweet. The ingredients are:
• 4 ounce cream cheese, softened
• 1 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 1 tablespoons light brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 tablespoon honey

Did yours turn out moist? I assumed they would have considering all the applesauce in them, but mine were not at all. I hope you enjoyed them!
These were delicious! Mine were moist and flavorful. I'll have to try your frosting recipe. Martha's frosting was rich, sweet and delicious! Kind of melt in your mouth wonderful.

That is great that your cupcakes tasted so moist, mine wasn't so much, even though I used oil instead of the suggested butter.

Love your cupcakes Karen! They look perfect. I may try this frosting variation you posted as I wasn't a huge fan of Martha's brown sugar cream cheese frosting.

I got the cupcake liners today. They were actually delivered this past weekend, but I was not at home, but I got them today!
I have to frost mine. Nothing like the last minute. I hate everything coming due at the same time. How many desserts can we have and I am not organized enough to make them ahead of time.
I am going to try your frosting, if you mind. Off to frost.
